Note their political party: NDP is the government; everyone else is opposition
Find your MLA’s address and email by clicking on their name
COPY AND PASTE THE EMAIL ADDRESS INTO YOUR EMAIL ‘TO’ LINE
CC your email to:
HLTH.Minister@gov.bc.ca (Hon Josie Osborne, minister of health)
premier@gov.bc.ca (Premier David Eby)
lifelinebcclmf@gmail.com (LifeLineBC advocacy campaign contact so we can track our letters & print for the health minister, AND if you consent to us having a copy of your letter for testimonials)
If you are a senior, CC your email to: susie.chant.mla@leg.bc.ca (Susie Chant, Parliamentary Secretary for Seniors’ Services)
If you receive rural health care CC your email to: Debra.Toporowski@leg.bc.ca (Debra Toporowski, Parliamentary Secretary for Rural Health)

Here’s a checklist you can follow to populate the MLA letter:
COPY AND PASTE THE LETTER TEMPLATE INTO THE BODY OF YOUR EMAIL
Pick the right template! NDP or Opposition
Header (Top-Left Corner)
[Your Name] → Your full name as you sign it.
[The Date] → Today’s date in “Month Day, Year” format (e.g. July 16, 2025).
[Your Address and Email] → Your street address, city, BC postal code, and your email.
MLA Info (Below Your Header, Left-Aligned)
[Name of MLA] → Their full name and “MLA” after (e.g. Jane Doe, MLA)
[MLA Address and Email Address] → The mailing address of their constituency office plus their public email
CC Line (Indented under MLA Info)
List the names of all the health ministry recipients you CCed after:
Hon Josie Osborne, Minister of Health
Premier David Eby
Salutation
Use “Dear [Mr./Ms./Mx. Last Name],” matching their preferred honorific.
Follow it with “MLA” on the same line if you like (“Dear Ms Doe, MLA”).
Your Personal Story
WRITE WHATEVER YOU WANT, this is your space to share your testimonial OR erase the title if you don’t want to share a personal story.
Closing:
“Kind regards,”
[Type Your Full Name]
write “digitally signed”
OR copy to your computer print, sign, and mail (keep in mind, we will be printing and sending hard copies of all electronic letters CCed LifeLineBC)
Tip: After filling in every bracketed placeholder, do a quick find-for “[” in your document to make sure nothing’s left behind. Then proofread for spelling, consistency, and formatting before sending.
